Basil Joseph’s ‘Maranamass’ turns to be a fun despite the chaos

‘Maranamass’, directed by well known director Shivaprasad and placing Basil Joseph in the titular role provides no room for such fear even when an entire village knows that a serial killer is out on the loose. Instead, the makers creates a lot of confusions and chaos giving everyone a story that has plenty to laugh.

The film introduces you to the serial killer but suddenly the mood shifts as the other characters arrive in the scene. Jikku who drives the bus named Veena also adds an integral part in driving the narrative. Basil Joseph’s recently released movies like ‘Ponman’ and ‘Praavinkoodu Shaapu’, were delightful to the audiences with his grounded approach to men battered by reality.
