The Malayalam industry is facing a lot of challenges after a number of allegations made against reputed artists in the industry through the Hema Commision Report. Hema Commision was set up in 2017 after the controversial issue of attack against one of most popular actresses in the Malayalam Film Industry. Dileep known as the most popular actor of Malayalam industry was arrested in relation to this case and still undergoing the legal formalities.
The actress had already made serious allegations against Dileep and his supporters involved in the issue. Sidhique and Edavela Babu who supported the actress early changed their statement in the court in favor of Dileep the accused.
