Emergency, a biographical political film from the Bollywood still in uncertainty of its official release date due to various reasons. The movie mainly highlights the emergency under rule of Indra Gandhi in 1975 to 1977. The has been objected by Sikh community as it mainly hurts with their community feelings and the government of Telengana already declared that the movie will not be released in the state. All these reasons are behind the delay of its official release in India.
Though the shooting and technical part of the has already been done and final product is ready in the arena the makers of the movie is in a dilemma regarding its official release. It hasn’t received the CBFC certificate as Bombay High Court has an objection in it. The makers are awaiting a new date to allotted.
