Collective resignations in the artists association raises a question regarding the future of AMMA. There are multiple personalities who can handle the position of leading AMMA but the doubt is who will take up it in this challenging situation.
There are a lot of artists who support and suggest the name of Jagadeesh one of the most popular figures in the Malayalam film industry to the position of General Secretary of AMMA. The female artists also support him as he had taken a matured stand when Hema Commision Report was discussed in the public. There are also some other nominations like Prithviraj, Urvasi, Parvathy, chakochan, Swetha Menon to the executive body of AMMA. However, we need to await what will be changes happening in AMMA from top to the bottom.
