Kerala Film Industry Body Expresses Solidarity to Mohanlal-Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Film Empuran the political action thriller written by Murali Gopi. The movie directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran has created a lot of criticism from various corners of the society after its official release on March 27.
The movie, a sequel to Lucifer (2019) opened a door for criticism by the leading government BJP, which openly iin favour of last year released ‘Kerala Story’ movie otherwise. The religious organization RSS condemned the movie’s representation of certain facts that hurt the sentiments of Sanghis.
