Kaviyoor Ponnamma one of the oldest artists in the Malayalam Film Industry passed away a few minutes ago in Lisy Hospital Kochi. She has been hospitalized for the past few months due various diseases and her relatives and friends expected that she would return to the normal life very soon but late this evening the hospital authorities confirmed the death of the great actress.
She has been excellent in executing the emotions and expressions in each role she was given. She had handled various role from the leading to supporting character perfectly in the movies she acted. She came to the movie when she was just 14 years old which lasted almost 65 years over 1000 movies. She has shared roles with almost all the superstars in Malayalam movies specially Mohanlal and Mammooty.
