One of the leading actors in Malayalam film industry Padmasri Mohanlal was admitted in a hospital in Kochi due to high fever and breathing problems. The actor was prescribed certain medications and was advised to avoid public spaces for at least five days. The actor is reportedly consulted with doctor at Amrita Super Specialty Hospital. As per an official statement released by the hospital authority the actor suspected to have a viral respiratory infection.
The actor returned to Kochi from Gujarat after finishing the shoot for L2: Empuran and the postproduction of his directorial debut Barroz. His condition worsened after he had reached Kochi. The recent medical report states that his condition improves under continuous observation.
