Malayalam cinema superstrs Mammootty and Mohanlal have respectfully saluted India’s military action, Operation Sindoor, which made a unpredictable on the Pak based terror infrastructure and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) early Tuesday morning. As per the central governments Defence Ministry, the operation was a direct and sudden response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed 26 lives.
The military action reportedly involved precision missile strikes on nine locations linked to terror outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, including their bases in Bahawalpur and Muridke. According to a report by The Hindu, the Defence Ministry confirmed in a statement released shortly after 1:40 a.m. on May 7 that the strikes were aimed at dismantling infrastructure used to plan attacks on Indian soil.
