Maranamass a Malayalam movie directed by well-known Shivaprasad placing Basil Joseph as the central character. Meanwhile, the film has faced a crisis in Kuwait, where the authorities have demanded that scenes featuring the queer actor to be edited out to receive an approval for release. Co-produced by renowned actor Tovino Thomas, has been reportedly banned in Saudi Arabia due to the presence of a queer actor in the film’s cast.
