AMMA, Malayalam film association has celebrated the Republic Day at its headquarters in Ernakulam. Mohalal, Mammooty and Manju were here to celebrate the celebration of the largest democracy in the world. Suresh Gopi, the central minister and film actor also was present at the event. It is after a long break Manju came attend an event at AMMA.
Following the Hema commission report that accused many artists with the allegation of sexual assault, the general body members of AMMA had resigned. Now the association is run by a temporary body.
