If we look at the history of Malayalam film industry, Jithu as a director and Mohanlal as an actor brought a lot of hits to their fans. Drushyam is one such hit that captured the attention of the world and both the parts were widely accepted. Ram is an upcoming Malayalam action thriller by Jithu Joseph featuring Mohanlal as central character.
It’s the first part of two-part series that resembles a wonderful cast including Thrisha Krishnan and Indrajith Sukumaran. Ramesh P Pillai and Sudhan S Pilllai produces the movie, and the cinematography is done by Satheesh Kurup. Its budgeted cost 1.4 billion INR which is one of the highest investments in Malayalam film industry.
The promo teaser has already been released and shooting progresses in different locations. The production was delayed approximately two years due to the pandemic Covid 19. The makers are on the expectation that the finished can be released on 24 August 2024.
