Upcoming Blockbuster Raayan, a Tamil language thriller movie directed by Dhanush is to be released on July 26. The movie, produced by Kalanidhi Maran stars Dhanush in the titular role, leading an ensemble cast including SJ Suryash, Aparana Balamurali, Kalidhas Jayaram, Selvaragavan, Sundeep Kishan
The official announcement of the movie was done in January 2023 under the provisional title D50. Dhanush completed 50 movies as the central character through it and the second one in his directorial venture. The location of the movie was mainly in and around Chennai and Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu and it was wrapped in mid-December
The initial release of the movie was set for June 13 but due to some unknown reasons the release is postponed to July 26. It is the story of a young man called Raayan who pays revenge to culprits who wiped his family.
