The Cultural Affairs Minister Saji Cherian recently stated that the issues and circumstances existing in the film industry is not in a situation where film producers have to go on strike. The minister’s response came after actor and filmmaker Antony Perumbavoor’s Facebook post criticizing Suresh Kumar’s undemocratic style.
Producer Antony Perumbavoor openly spoke against G Suresh Kumar on Thursday, criticizing that Suresh doesn’t have the full support of producers in the organization. He also said that he has a undemocratic style of operation which is not acceptable. Actors such as Prithviraj and Unni Mukundan have also came forward with their support for Antony’s stance.
