Thankalaan is upcoming Tamil Historical Fantasy Action movie directed by Pa. Renjith. Great actor Vikram handles the titular role of the movie along with Malavika Mohan and Parvathy Thiruvoth. Thankalaan is a tribal leader during the British Raj India who desires to stop Aarathy who had magical powers and used them to harm the people.
The trailer of the movie begins with the sight of a piece of land which is inhabited by tribals and animals. There comes a British officer in search of gold and the villagers are given the task to find out it. The story progresses in this way throughout the movie. It also projects the calamities in village as the chaos of Aarathy (played by Malavika Monanan) and Thankalan (Vikram) decides to fight against her.
