Thudarum, the latest Malayalam drama thriller directed by Tharun Moorthy, came into the big screen on April 25, 2025. The screenplay was co-written by Tharun Moorthy alongside K. R. Sunil. The film brought forward the amazing duo of the past Mohanlal and Shobana in the lead, co acted by an ensemble cast including Prakash Varma, Binu Pappu, Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Irshad Ali, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Thomas Mathew, Krishna Prabha, and Aravind. Produced by M. Renjith under the Rejaputhra Visual Media banner, Thudarum also boasts an original score composed by Jakes Bejoy.
As per the latest update by industry tracker Forum Keralam, Thudarum is projected in over 2,000 shows across Kerala today. The reports by early tracking reveals that the film has already crossed ₹6.70 crore in gross collections for the day and is expected to finish with a strong ₹7.75-₹8 crore gross. With this momentum, Thudarum is on course to deliver a staggering ₹19.75-₹20 crore opening weekend in Kerala.
