Vanangan is an upcoming Tamil language action-drama movie written directed and co-produced by Bala under B studios. Initially the movie was announced in 2022 March with Suriya staring and producing it under 2D entertainment later he withdrew from the project in December due to some changes in the storyline. Bala along with Suresh Kamatchi took the responsibility of producing the movie featuring Arjun Vijay as the central character.
The filming of the movie commenced in March 2023, and it was officially wrapped up in April 2024. RV Gurudev was replaced as the cinematographer and the editing has been done by Satish Suriya. There were some issues with the cast even during its shooting period which had badly affected the progress of the movie, Bala was accused of physically and mentally assaulting the actress Mamitha Baiju but later she apologized stating that she had no such experience and accused the media of creating such a rumor among the public. However, the Tollywood eagerly waits for its official release.
