The makers of upcoming Indian movie Pushpa 2 has released a character poster of Fahadh Fazil on his birthday stating it as a birthday special for him. He appears in the movie as a cruel police officer named Bhanvar Sigh Shegawat. He had been successfully handling the same role of a police officer in the first part of the movie. The main highlight in the movie directed by Sukumar will be the roles of Allu Arjun and Fahadh Fazil.
The movie produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravishankar under Movie Makers banner features Rashmi Mandhana in the main role. The script of the movie has been written by Sukumar and the dialogues are contributed by Srikanth Bissa. The principal photography was begun in Hyderabad 30th October 2022 and the action sequences were shot at Vishakhapatnam and Bangalore in March 2023.
Certain segments in the movie were also shot in Ramoji Film City Hyderabad and it was reported that the makers of the movie had spent almost 60 crores to shoot the Gagamma Jatara performance and a fighting scene. The music in the movie is composed by Devi Prasad and the lyrics are written by Chandrabose. The First Look poster of Fahadh Fazil was brought out on 8th August 2023 and the teaser of the movie was released a year later on 8th August 2024 in relation with Allu Arjuns 42nd birthday.
